Our research on the use of GRAPHENE for water remediation

In autumn 2018 Ambienthesis and Directa Plus SpA, one of the main producers of graphene in the world, signed a collaboration agreement aimed at developing and commercially promoting products, plants and services for the treatment of waste and for the remediation of soils, waste-water, groundwater and industrial waters based on the use of products containing Graphene as an absorbent base.

This activity will be carried out at the multifunctional platform of Orbassano, where an experimental plant for water treatment has been installed using graphene. In particular, the Parent Company will handle the experimental tests and data analysis in order to evaluate the applicability on an industrial scale of the use of graphene in the field of waste treatment and remediation activities.
